Word Watch Ministry serves local churches by evaluating their current situation, envisioning and equipping their congregations in Bible-Centered Community prayer that is enjoyable and sustainable.

Great Commandment: “Love the Lord your God with all you heart and will all your soul and with all your mind.” Matthew 22:37

The church in the United States has spent over 500 billion dollars in the past decade, much of it on church growth efforts, only to see millions of the “former faithful” drop out and fall away from Christ.  The surprising thing is that many of these drop outs were the best givers and volunteers who had led many to Christ. These dissatisfied believers have been going from church to church looking for “something more”.  We have worked hard to build His church, but feel like the fishermen  who fished all night and caught nothing.

Word Watch Ministry was born out of a passion to see the local church restored to its first love: the Person of JESUS and The Great Commandment.  After years of dryness, in January 2000, the Lord called Tom and Louise Grossman into a lifestyle of  Bible-centered prayer.  They immediately helped establish a house of prayer in their local church.  Since that time, they have helped churches and ministries grow in spiritual passion and fullness.  In 2007, the Lord directed them to expand the way in which they served pastors.  A simple tool was developed to help this process – we call it Word Watch.

Word Watch is a devotional prayer model that helps believers find a new and deeper passion for Christ.  We now offer churches and ministries a 2 1/2 hour (or longer) workshop to help reconnect believers to their first love and gives them solid tools to continue their journey to help build a praying community in your congregation. While 32% of church goers are stalled in their faith or dissatisfied with their church this workshop can be a vital beginning to spiritual renewal, growth and life in your church community.  As one of our recent trainees confessed at the end of nine weeks of practicing this type of prayer, “It’s so easy [to pray now], I almost feel guilty!”.

Word Watch Ministry has an excellent track record for Bible-centered teaching and Spirit led ministry.  For more information contact Tom Grossman Sr. at 214-680-6478 or tomgrossman1@gmail.com
